It took me awhile to figure out what she was doing with the scissors. She’s holding them really awkwardly. While that pose might be “teh sexxay” … but it isn’t how someone would cut off a trailing piece of thread. First of all, she’d be holding the other end of the thread taut so as to actually be able to cut through it properly. Have you ever tried to cut thread that isn’t being held taut? Can’t be done, son … it just folds itself along the blade of the scissors. Anyway, I’m just being nit-picky because I’m jealous of the artwork because I can’t draw … 🙂 I especially like the close-up of the stitchery, and the close-up of her face with her eyes cast down and mascara sort of running. Nice work.
