Yeah, I mean it’s your comic, so you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do.. but I think the killing on this page was a little risque. The guy getting hit in the head wasn’t so bad.. seen worse.. but something about that woman having a pistol shoved in her mouth and not fighting it.. I dunno.. just something trashy about those last three frames.. y’know like, people have built in survival instincts.. Possibly the way the killer is smiling about it, might have something to do with it.
Another way to do it would be to show that she’s there to kill them.. then cut away right before she does, so that you don’t have to actually depict the violence. ..I’m probably sounding like a total douchebag now though.. so yeah.. just thought I’d be honest about how it made me feel. 😀
Sorry if it was disturbing, but death is never pretty. We didn’t want to lessen the impact of the situation. And as far as survival instincts… the last two stages of death (according to the Kübler-Ross model) are depression and acceptance. Tee definitely went through both of those at the end.
Tara is a killer. It’s what she does and she’s good at it. Deaths like this are not just punishment, but also a warning. Don’t worry, her moral compass is due a bit of interference.
Thanks for the honesty! We love to know our readers thoughts and reactions.
Dang. That chick went execution style on those two. Kinda harsh.
